the affairs of the company; and of employment of any foreigners.

Any cancellation of such document by the company should also be

duly registered.

(f). All additions to, or diminution in, the capital of

the company and any alteration in the nature of its shares.

(g). All deeds and documents as regards mining.

(h). Other particulars.

Reulation 10. On receipt of any rental paid by any miner for any mine, a printed receipt bearing the following particulars will be given in return.

(a). The heading of the receipt.

(b). Name of the province and the district.

(c). (1). The name of the mine.

(2). The locality of the mine.

(3). The name of the mine-owner.

(4). Number of acres of the mine.

(5). The number of the mining licence.

(d). Amount of rent payable half yearly.

(e). Date of payment.

On payment of royalties on ore removed from the

mine similar receipt will be given with the exception of item (d),

under which there will be inserted instead the kind, quantity and

cost of the ore and tax payable thereon.

Chapter IV

Regulation 11. In every application, which should be made in duplicate, for a licence to prospect for a mine, the following

particulars should be stated.

(a). The name, age, native country, address and occupa- -tion of applicant.

(b). The locality in which it is intended to prospect.

(c). Area and boundaries of the mine.

(d). Any village, mart, graves, hills, rivers, public

roads within the boundaries of the mine.

(e). Names of the landlords and number of landlords of the mine. Due statement should be made, if Government property.
